Camping Club Juniors & Camping Club Youth

We are really excited to be launching our junior and youth sections of the Leicestershire DA, we will be attending regular weekend meets and creating a dedicated CCJ / CCY camping area.

This means that on these weekends you can come along and camp with our Youth leaders in the CCJ / CCY area of the site away from your parents!

We will also take part in the Central Counties Youth rallies, one in the Winter and one in the Summer. These rallies see all of the Central regions meet up and take part in inter-district competitions as we battle it out for trophies and district pride.

We are also looking at attending the National Youth rally each year which we will share more details with you as the information becomes available.

To join the youth section, complete the application form below and mail it to the address on the back page.

For children aged 8-11, please contact the youth leaders using the phone numbers below.

Youth Leaders

Your youth leaders are Phil and Ruth Burton – we are both accredited by the Camping and Caravanning Club and have been vetted through DBS checks, we will always carry our identification at all times whilst on site.

Phil and Ruth work with children in their usual day-to-day lives as both of them work in the education sector. They do a lot of work within their own communities including being Governors at schools, Scouts Leaders and organising Santa Fun Run. They have two children who will be part of both the CCJ and CCY groups.

Phil will take the lead with the CCY group (12-17). Parents can contact Phil on 07305 219759.

Ruth will be looking after the CCJ group (8-11) and can be contacted on 07572 399053.
